Day 1

I'm not ashamed of my body... I only cut my head off because I just woke up and my hair looked like a troll from the 80s.
As you can see im not fat or thin... not in shape but not out of shape.
I'm just a guy. I don't like the gym and I love to eat good greasy food. My plan is to take a picture everyday to track results.

I was on the 24 day challenge for 5 min and already failed!
I woke up and went for the coffee... Even black coffee is a no no. (Which I did not understand... So I asked my advojunky sales lady and she said spark has caffeine but its more broken down...)
I was able to drink half the cup before my wife caught me.
She gave me a fiber drink that reminded me of an orange julius. It was actually really good!

Next you have to drink a spark... which is like the coffee of the group.

That picture should let you know what I think of grape spark...
My wife promised me the fruit punch was better... We will see.

Im really trying to break my "drink coffee all day" habit... Its pretty hard but the spark does help.

I normally eat a bowl of Lucky Charms with my son... But there is a no milk rule for the 12 day cleanse...  Pretty sure Lucky charms is off limits as well.

So I was told to eat oatmeal with fruit... (Minus the brown sugar and honey)
My wife put it in a to go cup.. It was ok.

My first temptation of the day... Cake balls! Really...you had to bring cake balls to our morning meeting. For two hours me and the cake balls battled... I won because advocare is making me a champion!

My second temptation was... Pizza hut.. All the guys at work went to pizza hunt for the buffet... I ate a salad...  A lot of salad... And yes that is a bread stick on top... And yes it was much better than the raw broccoli it was behind.

Really vinegar and oil salad is pretty dang good.

Salads never fill me up... Next is the hunt for a snack... I found this in a drawer...  It seemed advofriendly.

For dinner we grilled some salmon covered in mustered, garlic, liquid smoke and horseradish. Some rice and veggies as sides. It was all really good and I did not cover it with butter and salt.... Who knew. :)

Day 1 in review: I have never really been full for more than 2 hours... But Ive learned a lot.
Low sodium and sugar and anything with fewer than 8 ingredients is usually ok for the cleanse.  Im also more addicted to coffee than I realized... Ill have to bring a spark to work. I have been training myself all day to not just randomly grab some candy or mints but go for nuts, fruit and lame stuff like that. Its more annoying than hard.
